With 800-plus fabrics, Craftmaster specializes in custom orders

In the South, furniture is more than a business, it’s a family tradition. The furniture manufactured in Craftmaster’s North Carolina facilities is made the old-fashioned way—by hand, and with pride—so Knox and Panoply is especially pleased to offer the Craftmaster line of upholstered furnishings.

This versatile upholstered chair can go from formal to casual, and the piece has tailored scallop arms, a tight back and high tapered wood legs. Desert print fabric is featured on this chair style (#30810), but if you’d prefer another fabric, or another style of chair upholstered in this same fabric, that’s no problem. Custom orders are a specialty for Craftmaster, since the company offers more than 150 living room styles, more than 100 accent chairs and ottomans, and more than 800 fabric choices.

Craftmaster was the vision of two native North Carolinians who had a goal of building the finest quality upholstered furniture in their price range that is fashionable yet affordable. The company has grown from 20 people to more than 600 employees today. Many in the Craftmaster family have been with the company for more than 25 years, some from the very beginning. Craftmaster was purchased in May 2006 by Samson Holdings and has continued to grow its business, making Craftmaster one of the most well-known upholstery manufacturers in the country. It’s a line we’re happy to offer at Knox and Panoply, so give us a call or stop by soon to hear more of the Craftmaster story.
